including the lesser charge of pandering

Michael Jackson’s in court, and I really don’t want to talk about the details of that case any more than I just did.

I have a long backlog of posts (lightning plans, a response to Frank Hecker’s excellent disruptive-innovation Firefox analysis, travelogue, congratulations to friends of all sizes) that I have been putting off finishing because I really, honestly, am too damned busy.

I cannot let this pass: CNN has an honest-to-god scorecard for the various charges and counts at play here. I…but….

Turns out they didn’t need the scorecard. I wish I could comment more knowledgeably on the case against him but I’ve been studiously avoiding the topic (where possible) and as a result I’m left with uninformed indignation.

He’s been too creepy for my tastes for a long time now. Long before any of the recent doings I couldn’t listen to anything by him because of the association with that creepiness. The clincher a little while ago was his well-broadcast dangling of his child off a balcony. Why he wasn’t deemed an unfit parent at that time or at least one that needs supervision boggles my mind.

Where there’s smoke there’s fire they say. Apparently celebrity buys a lot of firefighting.

You break your silence for this? Seriously?

Hon, if you’re gonna go celebrity blog on us, at least have the decency to link to the whole Cruise-control debacle:

    Katie Holmes switching to Scientology?

Can someone please stop the ride? I want to get off.
