deja vu
Hrm. I’m very tempted to go to Ottawa this weekend for Lisgar’s 160th. I wasn’t expecting this.
(I’m even tempted to contribute to the auditorium renovations, which also baffles me. I guess I did have some good times there.)

You can’t possibly have forgotten the 150th already? I certainly have not ;-) I am certain the crew you were part of donated more than enough back then. Really.
I just read the other link about the reunion itself…. can I come to the Principal’s Reception if you’re going?
My aunt and uncle (Ann and Hugh) are going to the reunion, driving up from Chicago for it, no less. I considered going, briefly, but it seemed difficult and expensive (though if I had, my parents would have gone too, which made it even more tempting). Really the people I would most want to see are teachers — if you do go, say hello for me to anyone you do see, though!
Boy, that sure snuck up on us fast, didn’t it? :)
I think I would drop in if I were actually in Ottawa … or the right hemisphere, say.
I am quite curious to hear if teachers who have retired or moved on to other schools end up attending. I visited Lisgar this fall to give a talk to Grade 12 students (very surreal) and had lovely chats with both Ms. Poetschke and Mr. Peters. But they’re just about the only ones still at the school from our era.
I didn’t even know you went to class. For some reason I remember you being in the sandbox an awful lot, but I do have selective (and feeble) memory.
