couldn’t happen to nicer guys
“Mike Hoye”:http://off.net/~mhoye/blarg/ is having a bad computer day, for which I have great sympathy. I’m sure he’ll tell us all about it. (I’m mildly inspired to set up something to protect other people from this sort of bad computer day. Wonder if I’ll find the time)
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Zach is having a wonderful time with some drivers he’s trying to integrate into something or other:
< zab> I would have first identified this code as satire
I almost feel guilty; I had a pretty decent day, myself, though the gym would have been better if I’d eaten more of a breakfast beforehand.
How’s the working out treating you, anyways? I ran my first “real” 10k (where there were other people, timers, and little bibs with numbers on them) on New Year’s Eve, and it was a blast. I seem to be running 30-35km a week now, and even have a trainer-nazi telling me I’m being a baby once a week. Good stuff all around, but I’m wondering how things have been going with your program.
Quite well. I’ve lost a bit of weight (mostly water, I’m sure, since I’m a sack of mostly-water anyway), and I’ve gained quite a bit of strength, especially in parts of me (chest, say) that had virtually no muscle before.
I’m sleeping better, too, and it’s been a sweet double-team with my anti-depressants.
The trainer is key, for me; I don’t think I’d get there even 1/4 as often without someone waiting for me, and I think I would get as much done while there either. Kinda pricy, though. =/
Thanks for your help, now and ongoing.
