I believe Dell may also be offering to recycle the computers that people send back because they’re unusable, by just putting them back into circulation

My 5 cents’ worth – “sucks and rules” = left hand and right hand problem = everyone has tiny view of the issue = just doin’ my job = demons of stupidity rampant = frustrating customer interface

However: it has been my experience that with most things, Dell is not too terrible, in fact rather awesome (at least so far, and to me).

The licensing folks (whomever they may be)should be made aware of their silliness post haste…. IMHO

One thing that I’ve noticed from my time as a sysflunky is that Dell gear tends to either fail catastrophically almost immediately, or be very reliable for a long time.

There is no way to to tell in advance what’s going to happen, and virtually no middle ground. Wierd.

Sucks. They’re required under European law to be dealing with their product’s environmental impact lifecycle. They are not required to impose shit EULAs on people.
